A lassan talán mögöttünk hagyott világjárvány elég erősen rányomta a bélyegét a videojáték-iparra is. Az elmúlt másfél évben érezhetően visszaesett a jelentősebb játékmegjelenések száma. A tradicionálisan erős tavaszi és őszi szezonokban is jóval kevesebb nagy játék érkezett és ez a folyamat mostanáig meg is maradt. Ám úgy tűnik, hogy a május már a korábbi éveket idézheti.
Egész hónapban szépen elosztva kapjuk majd a nagyon ígéretes játékokat. Kezdésnek mindjárt május 6-án megérkezik a Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition PC-re, amely nem csak holmi ráncfelvarrás, elég komolyan kikupálják az egyébként még csak alig két éves játékot. De a hónap várhatóan legnagyobb durranása rögtön másnap, május 7-én megérkezik. Ez a Resident Evil Village, amely a hetedik rész által kitaposott új ösvényt követi.
A hónap multiplayer játéka a Hood: Outlaws & Legends lehet, amely május 10-én érkezik. Ebben Robin Hood idejébe repülhetünk vissza, hogy csapatunkkal erődöket fosszunk ki, miközben más hasonló csapatokkal is meg kell küzdenünk. A Mass Effect Legendary Edition május 14-én érkezik, ebben az első három rész felújított kiadása kerül bele. Pár nappal később, május 18-án pedig az eddig csak PlayStation 4-re elérhető Days Gone érkezik meg PC-re.
Végül a hónap lezárását egy pár mutáns állatkára bízhatjuk, május 28-án jön az évek óta várt akció-szerepjáték, a Biomutant.
