Wadjet was revered as the goddess of childbirth and protector of children. Wadjet’s role was generally portrayed as a forceful defender; and symbols of her - generally a rearing cobra - frequently appeared on king's headpieces to show they were under her protection. The Wadjet in Age of Mythology can rear up and spit venom at its enemies.

Manticore

One of the monsters spawned by Typhon and Echidna, the Manticore was a creature with triple rows of sharp teeth, a man's face and a scorpion-like sting at the tip of its tail with which it could shoot darts. In Age of Mythology, the deadly darts shot by the Manticore explode on impact, damaging nearby enemies.

Nemean Lion

Another monster spawned by Typhon and Echidna, the Nemean Lion had a hide so tough no weapon could pierce it, and its roar caused mortal men to run in fear. In Age of Mythology, the terrible roar of the Nemean Lion strikes fear into the hearts of nearby enemy soldiers and deals damage to them.
