Na ez külön érdekes lesz. Mert azt találtam ki, hogy körökre osztva csinálom, mert úgy tudok utána minden részletet ledokumentálni. De ezzel a játékkal még sosem játszottam TB-t, csak RT-t. Így aztán kicsit nehéz lesz azokat a trükköket alkalmazni, hogy megy a Bradley és lövi azt az épületet, amit meg akarunk szállni, és amikor közel ér, akkor abbahagyja a lövést, kidob egy füstöt és aztán kiugrál a gyalogság és berohan az épületbe. RT-ben ezt jól időzítve meg lehet csinálni. TB-ben nem.

Tehát adott esetben ismét otthagyhatjuk a fogunk a csatamezőn!

Amúgy te, mint a csata "játékosa" Round-Based-ben vagy Real-Time-ban játszod-e le a csatát?

Igen. Az szpk egy kétfős unit. Van egy-egy M4-esetek, tehát harcolni is tudtok. De a fő feladata a pk egységnek az, hogy tartsa a kommunikációt lefele és felfele. Azaz a legfőbb parancsnok a zászlóalj parancsnok. Ha pl az egyik felderítő észrevesz egy T-72-est, akkor azt jelenti a parancsnokának, aki jelenti a zászlóaljparancsnoknak és onnan szép lassan eljut az információ lefelé az A, C, D, E századok parancsnokaihoz, ahonnan tovább az alacsonyabb egységekig.

Mondjuk ennek most nem sok értelme lesz, mert ha a felderítő észrevesz egy T-72-est, akkor én azt screenshottal meg fogom mutatni, hogy "feltűnt egy szír páncélos..."

Kérdés: Maguk az szpk-k, azaz mi jelen leszünk a térképen?

This is it, soldier! The end of the road!
We outnumber the enemy and now have them surrounded at Hims.
They have set up their main forces on and beyond the Hims beltway. Syrian defense forces consist of a reserve infantry battalion, a company of elite troopers plus a ragbag, though still effective, mix of squads drawn from other defeated units.
They also have armour. Our hope is that they will use it as Saddam did in Iraq, but we can't rely on that. The Syrians may be smarter, so I advise equipping your infantry with AT capability.

You know your men. You can use the whole of TF Narwick in this battle, but due to the presence of enemy T-72s I recommend, after recon, that your armoured platoon should open the attack. You will get 155mm artillery and Apache support during this battle.
Your officers report: the men are highly motivated and keen to finish this campaign. Morale is high. This is the time to collect some medals and step up in rank.

Additionally, in the final phase of the battle you can expect the arrival of spearhead units of TF Thunder. So watch your fire to the East!

North of Hims are suburbs. Around the highway crossroads (where the Hims beltway turns right) is an industrial zone. Other than that it's mostly an agricultural area.

TF Narwick is very close to its primary objective now: Hims. While TF Thunder attacks from the East, we're coming out of the North. However, the Syrian Army is not as weak as Intelligence initially thought. Their defense lines are deep and well-emplaced around Hims. They know that if Hims falls, Damascus can no longer hold power.

The beginning section of the beltway is an optimal defense line for the enemy, so you should endeavour to flank it.
Syrian infantry are dug in around the beltway, so move in from the other side of the M1 highway. But be alert! There may be traps, mines, IEDs, and at any moment the Syrians may initiate a major counter-attack. Keep your observers at the ready to direct the Apaches at short notice.

We have time, Commander. Plan carefully, then execute your flanking manouevre. A frontal attack is not an option. Your soldiers deserve better than a purple heart at the end of this hard road.
Advance with caution! Do not expose your own flanks to counter-attacks! Your nation, and the world, is watching you.
