Singleplayer Missions
The single player missions of Call of Duty consist of epic battles including D-Day, the Russian Charge at Stalingrad and the Battle for Berlin. Single Player is played in four campaigns, first as American, British, and then Russian soldiers, followed by a fourth combined campaign.
All 24 single player missions will provide a gaming experience like no other due to an amazing engine and wonderful AI. Call of Duty uses a heavily modified version of the Return to Castle Wolfenstein engine which provides incredibly detailed graphics and great performance. The AI will have you on the edge of your seat as enemies attack you from every flank. Your squad will play a major role in whether or not you advance through the war or fall to the mercy of the German Army. You must pay attention and think quick to live another day.

American Campaign
You are Private Martin, Baker Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne. Drop deep into occupied France on the eve of the greatest allied invasion in history -- D-Day. Other missions includ taking out a battery of German anti-aircraft guns, engaging in a thrilling car chase, and going on a daring POW rescue.

As Sergeant Evans in the British 6th Airborne Division, you take part in capturing and defending the Pegasus Bridge on D-Day. Other missions include disabling German Artillery emplacements on Eder Dam, and you even go undercover to sabotage the legendary battleship Tirpitz!

As a peasant named Alexei drafted for the Russian Infantry, you must fight your way through Stalingrad to live to see a greater day. If you survive, you'll advance in rank to take part in some incredible sniper missions. Live long enough and you may get promoted to tank commander.
