Sztem is nagyon király a game, 2002vel anno sokat játszottam, de a 2003 vmiért nem jött be annyira, de ez nagyon hiper-szuper lett.

b) Improving Gameplay Performance

To improve gameplay performance, go to Display Options in the top
menu system.Click on Display Options and adjust the sliders to
minimum. Also make sure you run with the lowest game
resolution (640x480).

On-Play Player Detail -- the detail level of the players during
gameplay.
Off-Play Player Detail -- the detail level of the players during
offplay sequences (whenever the clock is not running).
On-Play Arena Detail -- the detail level of the arena during
gameplay.
Off-Play Arena Detail -- the detail level of the arena during
offplay sequences (whenever the clock is not running).

c) Improving Graphic Details
----------------------------------------------------------------

To improve Graphic Details, go to Display Options in the top menu
system. Click on Display Options and adjust the sliders up.
This will decrease your framerate but improve the details of the
players and arena.

On-Play Player Detail -- the detail level of the players during
gameplay.
Off-Play Player Detail -- the detail level of the players during
offplay sequences (whenever the clock is not running).
On-Play Arena Detail -- the detail level of the arena during
gameplay.
Off-Play Arena Detail -- the detail level of the arena during
offplay sequences (whenever the clock is not running).

You can also increase the game resolution.

d) MEMORY
----------------------------------------------------------------

NHL 2004 requires 128 MB RAM and Virtual Memory Enabled. It is
required that Windows 2000 and Windows XP have 256MB of RAM. We
recommend that you let your operating system manage the amount
of virtual memory automatically (the default setting). You must
have at least 100 MB free hard disk space after installation to
run the game.

We recommend you maintain more than 600MB free hard disk space.
During your time playing NHL 2004 as there will be times when more
disk space will be needed.

Some areas of the game that will use more hard drive space are:
. Playing multiple seasons
. Taking screenshots

Suggestions to free up space:
* Delete old leagues in NHL 2004. Located in \My Documents
\NHL 2004
* Delete old Temp Internet files and Temp installation files.
* Empty Recycle Bin
* Run Disk Clean Up utility
* Defragment your hard drive.

NHL 2004 supports DirectSound. If your sound card driver does
not support DirectSound you may experience choppy or stuttering
sound or sound that cuts in and out. If your sound card driver
does not support DirectSound, we recommend obtaining updated
drivers from your sound card manufacturer.

INSTALLED SOUND CARD, BUT THERE IS NO SOUND
*Make sure your speakers or headphones are plugged into the
appropriate jack and the volume control is turned up. If this does
not solve the problem make sure your sound card is installed
correctly.

GENERAL SOUND CARD INFORMATION
*During DirectX installation, the DirectX setup program attempts
to install a DirectSound supported driver for your sound card.
If your sound card driver does not support DirectSound, the DirectX
setup program attempts to replace your existing sound card driver.
*Please consult your sound card manufacturer for updated drivers
if DirectSound drivers are not available with the included
DirectX files from Microsoft.

Multi-channel Sound
NHL 2004 supports multi-channel sound on cards that are capable
of running with 4 or more speakers. You can turn on or off
4 speaker mode by going into Options --> Sound Options, and
adjusting the setting there.

Although you may be able to select 4 speaker mode in the front end,
your card may not function properly in this mode.

Selecting 4 speaker mode when only 2 speakers are connected may
cause loss of audio detail.


Extra Notes:

NHL 2004 will require a sound card to be able to play the game.

f) CD-ROM/DVD

NHL 2004 requires a 8x CD-ROM/DVD drive.

CD-ROM PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS

*Be sure that you use a 32-bit native driver of your Windows
operating system to control your CD-ROM drive. To configure a
driver, access the Device Manager tab from Control Panel > System.
*Do not use a DOS-based 16-bit driver (loaded in CONFIG.SYS) to
control your CD-ROM. Performance may be significantly reduced.

g) JOYSTICK

CONTROLLER ISSUES

Joystick Calibration
In order for your joystick to work properly in NHL 2004, you must
install and calibrate it in Windows. To install or calibrate your
joystick in Windows, access the Control Panel, and launch the
Game Controllers applet.

Note that some gaming devices use their own applets or software for
installation and calibration.

NHL 2004 recommends the Logitech Dual Action controller. This
controller will give access to all the gameplay features.

Note: NHL 2004 does not support force feedback on controllers.

h) MODEM
----------------------------------------------------------------

NHL 2004 requires a 100% Hayes compatible 56 kbps or faster
modem for modem play. A high speed (16550 UART) serial port is
required for external modems.

i) INTERNET
----------------------------------------------------------------
NHL 2004 requires Internet Explorer 6.0 to run. If you are prompted
during install to upgrade Internet Explorer, this means you have a
version of Internet Explorer that is not compatible with NHL 2004.
You must upgrade to IE 6.0. Internet Explorer 6.0 is included on the
NHL 2004 game CD.

Recommended for Internet Play:
*DSL or Cable Internet connection.
*Play during non Prime Time hours.
*Play with an opponent that is in the same general region as you.

*If you are using a dialup ISP for your Internet connection, you
must connect to your ISP before running NHL 2004.

Packet Rate -- increasing this setting may improve overall game
responsiveness but may decrease transfer performance. Experiment
with this setting to achieve a good balance between game
responsiveness and data transfer performance.

Extra Notes:

We recommend that you leave your Internet Explorer Security setting
set to default, as NHL 2004 needs to install ActiveX components.
Any deviations from Internet Explorer 6.0's default settings could
cause performance issues with your game.

2) Custom Teams
================================================================

To create a custom team, click on My Custom Teams from the My NHL
drop down menu.

You can populate your custom team with players from any team.
You cannot place multiple copies of the same player on your
custom team. To activate a custom team; you must have 18 skaters
and 2 goalies.

3) Music Importer
================================================================
NHL 2004 uses the Ditty Importer from NHL 2003. You can find
the importer at http://www.easports.com/games/nhl2004/downloads.jsp

4) Dynasty Mode
================================================================
In this section you will find more details about certain Dynasty
screens.

PROGRESS REPORT SCREEN: This screen is used to track the progress
of your team. The players attributes will change when
you make certain upgrades to your team. Keep an eye on
your players attributes. There are two sets of attributes
to view, home and road attributes.

SCOUTING REPORTS SCREEN: This screen shows you the upcoming players
available in the entry draft. Your scouting upgrade level
will determine how many ratings are visible.

SKILL AND UPGRADE SCREEN: This will be the most used screen in
Dynasty Mode. This is where you will decide the upgrades
to your team. Once you Save the upgrades you will not be
able to reverse the decision. All upgrades affect your team
in different ways. Make your decisions wisely.

CONTRACTS SCREEN: This screen is used to resign players or release
players from your team. Players in the list that are
grayed-out, means they are on your minor team roster.
When a player's year is 0 that means they are going to
need a new contract.

FINANCE sCREEN: This screen is used to keep track of your
finances. You will be able to adjust ticket prices during
the year. There is also a budget calculator for you to
calculate funds you need to keep your team in the black.

Én az NHL 2002-t nyomtam sokat. A sportjátékok közül az NHL-ek a legjobbak...
