Lezajlott az idei The Game Awards gála, ahol rengeteg új bejelentésre is sor került, ezekből már szemezgettünk mi is. Viszont a show lényege egyértelműen a 2022-es évben megjelent játékok díjazása volt. Bárki leadhatta előzetesen a maga szavazatát harmincegy kategóriában, majd ezek alapján hirdettek győztest. A fentiekből jól látszik, hogy bár az Elden Ring lett az év játéka, a legtöbb győzelmet mégis a God of War: Ragnarök söpörte be. Az Elden Ring összesen négy kategóriában bizonyult a legjobbnak és csupán két olyan kategória volt, ahol indult, de nem nyert. A God of War: Ragnarök hat kategóriában diadalmaskodott, három továbbiban csak jelölésig jutott. Érdekesség, hogy volt olyan kategória (Best Performance), ahol kétszer is jelölték, az egyiket meg is nyerte.
