The latest issue of Dorimaga (A Japanese magazine) features an interview with non other than Tetsuya Nomura. He talks about Kingdom Hearts 2 and Compilation of Final Fantasy 7.
The interview has been summarized by Game-Science.com
Kingdom Hearts 2:
- The game is twice as large as the first part and will probably be released on 2 single layered DVD's.
- A lot of new Disney characters and new worlds will also appear.
- Sora's movements have all been completely re-animated in order to show he has matured.
Compilation of Final Fantasy 7:
- New characters (and scenarios) are constantly added to FF7: Before Crisis.
- While most people assume Dirge of Cerberus will be a Gun-Action game, Nomura again made clear the genre of the game is not yet known. All he could say is that everyone will surely be suprised once it hits the shelves.
- Some characters from Advent Children also appear in Dirge of Cerberus, although the 2 stories aren't really "connected". Advent Children is about the history of Cloud, whilst Dirge of Cerberus concentrates on Vincent's history. Also, both games take place in Midgar. (Draexin: Midgar?! I thought it was Nibelheim.. interesting)
- When the idea of Advent Children first arose, Nomura only had Before Crisis and Advent Children in mind.
- Yoshinori Kitase had a much more extensive story in mind than Nomura initially had, therefore the Compilation will come to a suprising conclusion.
Furthermore, according to Japanese Forums, Nomura mentions FF7:Advent Children will probably not appear in Japan this winter. A release of somewhere in spring 2005 seems more likely.
heh...ARRÓL A K****RVA CRISIS CORE-RÓL MÉR NINCS SZÓ?!
