There was never any release date set for the US release of Advent Children. The
countdown was taken down due to confusion by the web developer thinking the
release date that was posted was for the US when it was actually for the Japan
release.

I notice that the countdown on the official US Advent Children site has been
taken down. Several retailers have also claimed that the DVD release date has
been changed as well.
I was wondering if the release date remains the same or, if it has changed, when
