Betatesterek véleményei a játékról:

"I have played a lot more today and found out how important and powerful heros are. basically you get one for free at the start of a match (you still have to wait for it to be created at the town hall) and it starts at level 1. you can then team it up with a couple of grunts or something and go scout for "creeps," which are what blizzard calls the neutral enemy units. after you kill about ten of these creeps (depending on how hard they are) you level up your hero to level 3 at least... and you can pick three skill upgrades. an example is one of the orc's hero units, the tauren chieftan. he is a huge monster and he gives and takes a lot of damage . my favorite skill of his is the shockwave. it makes the ground ripple violently for a long way in front of him, doing 75(level 1) to 125(level 3) damage to every unit it hits. it can wipe out a peon line in one hit, or significantly damage an entire enemy horde of units. on top of that, if you get your cheiftan to level 6 or so and find good health items, he can get at least 1300 hp!! he does like 60 damage per hit and is hard to kill, and he can ressurrect himself (if you put the skill point in ressurection at level 5). when they get this powerful, heros can be very devastating against a player with only normal units.
Besides the cheiftan, i have heard that one of the undead heros has a leech aura, giving every friendly unit 20% life leech (like in diablo2)."

"War3 introduced an upkeep system. At first sending your minions into the gold mines will produce your 10 gold, just like always. However, as time goes on, your army gets bigger, etc, they'll continue to take 10 gold from the mine, but you only collect 7. Then even later maybe 5. This prevents set-it-and-forget-it massive money maps where you only ever need one giant base to command your whole army from.
Those who live on Big Game Hunters are complaining and want the feature taken out. I think it ought to be a selectable option when starting a new game."

"-What I like:
Graphics - pretty.
Gameplay - significantly different unit types and buildings.
Heroes - very cool (I've found the best inventory items are +Armor rings).
Units - very different units, they support each other well.
-What I don't like:
Demo is locked at fastest game speed.
Cluttered interface - just look at the screenshots.
Small viewing area - you have to run 1280x1024 or higher to see enough to be useful (I feel sorry for the minimum-specs crowd).(-Ez a bétának tudható be, szerintem fullra tuti megcsinálják)
No friendly-fire damage - I'll wade some fighters into an area that I'm bombarding and not take damage."

"I forgot probably the best feature, in bnet you just click play, and type in what variant you want (2on2, ffa, one on one) and it puts you in a game automatically with people who also selected 2on2. you can get into a game almost instantly, and it matches you with people of similar win/loss records."

"I got the beta yesterday night and played about 3 games and I played about 15 games today (Yes thats a LOT of playering, (10-15hours). I have to say this game rules. It takes RTS games into another demention, I can't stop playing it. I think it will be an excelect game when it is released."

"i hurt myself today | to see if i still feel | i focus on the pain | the only thing that's real..."
